TOP TIPS FOR YOUR FIRST TIME SNOWMOBILING

1. As you steadily try to hold the accelerator grasp at a steady speed, try to relax and not tense up your arms and shoulders. Otherwise, after a while they will begin to ache!

2. If you can, take turns in driving the snowmobile with your partner. While driving is an exhilarating experience, as you are so focused its hard to take in the scenery around you.

3. From personal experience, it’s very difficult to take videos or photos while you are moving, even as a passenger! Not only because of the movement of the snowmobile, but because it’s so cold on your hands!

To take photos of your experience when your moving, we recommend bringing your GoPro and attach it to an adjustable head strap to go around the helmet so you can record hands-free with no hassle!

4. Crucial note: Most snowmobiling tour providers will ask you to sign a waiver highlighting that any damages caused to the snowmobile by you is your responsibility to pay for damages.

Some may even offer an additional low-cost insurance policy add on to cover the costs of this eventuality. Do consult your chosen tour company directly for their specific policies on this.
