Everything about the pink coco was amazing ! The service, the staff, the look of the hotel, the food, the spa the cleanliness & all the little extra surprises were so lovely! I was made to feel so comfortable and they even checked in on me by text when the weather was really bad one evening. Little things go along way 🙂 The hotel also smells amazing 🤩 almost smells pink haha . Breakfast great and so much choice . I literally couldn’t fault this hotel and would class it more like a 5 star … I would go back in a heartbeat ! The best memories and the best end to my trip I could ever have imagined 🥰

Looks aren’t everything, but at Pink Coco Gili Air, you can’t help but take notice! This resort effortlessly stands out from the rest on Gili Air, with playful pink accents that bring every corner to life.

From pastel-hued walls and vibrant pink beachfront loungers to a pink tour boat, pink bikes, and even pink desserts – no detail is overlooked. Even the statues nails are painted pink! One recent guest even joked that the hotel ‘almost smells pink!’, and honestly, we get it! 😆

Hotel is honestly and truly the most amazing one I have ever stayed at and that is not only because the Hotel itself is incredible, the food is amazing, the massage is the best and the rooms are wonderful clean and cosy but what makes this hotel truly stand out like no other are the people that work there and how they make you feel like you are the most valuable customer ever. They are so incredibly caring and have lots of lovely surprises ready for their guests.

WITH ITS OWN PRIVATE BEACH, AND SWING!

The beach area directly outside of Pink Coco is exclusive for guests. Dotted with bright pink sun loungers and mauve bean bags, the vibe is super casual and laid back.

The sunsets from here are AMAZING, you have to sit here and watch it set behind distant Gili Meno at least once!

The “Pièce de résistance” is Pink Coco’s very own beach swing. All pink, naturally. It’s FAR less busy than the swings swarmed by Instagrammers on Gili T. In fact, when we were there hardly anyone was on it.

So yes, we can vouch that Pink Coco’s aesthetic is fresh, vibrant, dreamy, lush and tropical. But honestly, what we always remember – and tbh, why we rave about it SO much – is because of its staff and their absolutely incredible service.

From the moment we stepped through those boho-chic reception doors to the heartfelt waves goodbye as we sped off to Lombok by speedboat, every single team member was warm, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond.

Reading recent reviews, it’s amazing to see that this hasn’t changed one bit.

PREPARE FOR AN EXTRA SPECIAL STAY

It’s the little touches that make all the difference. Your room isn’t just cleaned, it’s refreshed multiple times a day. Every evening, a thoughtful turndown service welcomes you back, complete with softly glowing candles and sumptuously sweet treats left on your bed. It’s these small, meaningful gestures that make our stay at Pink Coco truly unforgettable!

An example: We messaged the hotel WhatsApp, asking for an iron. Just 2 minutes later, a smiling member of staff was at our room door, iron in hand!

A slight upgrade from the snuggly Cocoon Room, with the added bonus of extra space, inside and out. Plus a brilliant location, right by the pool with tropical fauna giving you privacy. An upgrade well worth it, in my opinion. We stayed in Grande Room 29!

Incredible resort. We loved everything about it. It was our best hotel in the 5 weeks we spent in Indonesia. Beds were comfortable, food was good. Staff was extra nice and extra helpful. all the little surprises were good.

THE 30 METRE SWIMMING POOL IS OPEN 24/7

Pink Coco has one large 30-metre outdoor lap pool at its heart, fringed with towering palm trees either side.

Soak up the sun on the vibrant pink loungers or stretch out on the plush double daybeds. To keep you refreshed, chilled fruit-infused water dispensers are thoughtfully placed under umbrellas around the pool. Again, these little touches!

The pool at Pink Coco is open 24/7! Enjoy a refreshing early morning swim or a midnight dip, a sky full of stars above and glass of wine in hand! Just note, the pool isn’t lifeguarded.

Pink Coco’s tropical spa is open 9am-8pm daily, offers indulgent beauty treatments inspired by traditional Balinese methods, like relaxing massages, body scrubs and facials.

We both had the wonderful 200,000 IDR “Back Massage” (approx. £10 each). It was so, so nice!!

I literally couldn’t fault this hotel and would class it more like a 5 star ! Also had the best massage ever here (on my last night unfortunately) otherwise I would have had more! I’ve had about 15 massages on my month long trip and this was by far the best!

GET YOUR CLOTHES CLEANED, IRONED, FOLDED & SMELLING AMAZING FOR LESS THAN £1.50

Being a few weeks into our sabbatical by this point, we used Pink Coco Gili Air’s laundry on-site service. For 30,000 IDR (£1.45 GBP / $1.80 USD) per 1kg, what we got was way beyond our expectations!

Our clothes came back smelling mouth-wateringly good, perfectly pressed ironed and folded. Honestly, I couldn’t stop smelling the bag 🤣 All done in one full day.

Pink Coco’s delicious breakfast is included in all room rates. From 7am-12pm daily, either on the Sunset Restaurant’s first-floor terrace with a view or — our personal favourite —right on the beach.

When else do you get to savour a chocolate-laden pancake stack with your toes in the sand and the sun on your face?

Sunset Restaurant is open all day, ready to serve up whatever your heart desires throughout the day. Whether a refreshing fruit smoothie, a cheeky cocktail or delicious nibbles. If lounging by the pool or on the beach, keep an eye out. The staff are known to surprise guests with little unexpected treats throughout the day!

In the evening, opt for Sunset Restaurants delicious á la carte Asian, Western and Vegan dishes using fresh local ingredients. → Here’s the full food & beverage menu. We ate here literally every evening, the food was SO delicious.

An alternative is “Tapas Del Mar”, open 5-10pm, serving mouth-watering Tapas cuisine on the beach, made with love by their Italian Chef, Riccardo Casasanta.

We can hand on heart say this was our favourite hotel to stay at on the Gili Islands, and would return in a heartbeat.

Not only are their design, location and on-site facilities top notch, the real selling point for us (which made this stay so amazing) were the hotel’s attentive staff. They really couldn’t do enough for you.
