We personally have been searching high and low for the best spa hotels in New Forest National Park to stay at when we visit in June.
During our research we have found some brilliant options, which we want to share with you to help with planning your own idyllic New Forest spa experience:

The luxurious Chewton Glen Spa resides in the decadent 5* country house and hotel, Chewton Glen Hotel, nestled in an astounding 130 acres of land just a 10 minute drive outside of the New Forest.
The spa facilities include large 17m and newly refurbished indoor pool, an idyllic outdoor pool, hydrotherapy spa pools, heated beds, an outdoor whirlpool, plus a soothing sauna and steam room. The spa can be enjoyed by guests 17 years and over.
For extra pampering, select from their extensive soul-replenishing spa treatment menu. From hair scalp therapy, beauty treatments and full body massages, you’ll come away from this haven feeling fully refreshed and revitalised.
Outside of the spa itself, activity facilities include 4 tennis courts, a golf course, plus a state of the art Technogym and two modern fitness studios with a bountiful choice of classes.
In terms of price, this is notably one of the most expensive spa hotels in the New Forest to stay at – with an overnight stay starting at over £500 per room, per night!

The grand Careys Manor Spa Hotel is located in the Brockenhurst, right in the heart of the New Forest National Park.
The luxurious SenSpa centres around traditional Thai healing and wellness influences, with an impressive 22,000 square feet worth of spa facilities, all with a deep rooted focus on thermal revitalisation.
You can melt your worries away in the crystal steam room, herbal sauna, ice rooms, Laconium with heated floors (dry sweating room) and even a traditional Tepidarium space with ceramic heated loungers.
On offer is also a 14 metre indoor swimming pool overlooking the idyllic and manicured Zen Garden, a hydrotherapy pool, jacuzzi and fitness suite to break a sweat in!
All hotel guests at Careys Manor can upgrade to use the spa facilities at SenSpa from £39pp for a two hour slot.
One odd thing to note that previous guests have mentioned is hotel guests have to get ready in their rooms and cannot use the spa lockers to store their belongings.
Check out their extensive treatment brochure, which focuses on replenishing the body, soul and mind. With a mind-blowing 18 treatment rooms on-site, there is plenty of opportunities to indulge in these wonderful treatment offerings.
We love the Careys Manor hotel as a New Forest spa hotel option as while upholding a great level of quality and luxe, the overnight price tag is much more affordable, between £180-£250 a night dependant on season and time of week.

Undergoing a huge refurbishment and set to reopen in April 2024, the luxurious New Park Manor Hotel is set in idyllic woodland just outside of New Forest’s Brockenhurst village.
Famously King Charles II’s old hunting lodge, New Park Manor is home to a newly refurbished on-site spa facility.
Here, you can enjoy a large 16 metre indoor swimming pool, a large heated outdoor pool and sun terrace (open Summer months only), two hot tubs, sauna, steam room and an innovative Somadome meditation pod experience.
New Park Manor is one of the most family-friendly New Forest spa hotels you will find, promoting a range of ‘Little Ishga’ spa treatments suitable for children aged 3+, plus an adorable ‘Mini Me Pamper Day‘ spa day option.
Discover all of the organic ‘Ishga’ seaweed based treatments on offer on this New Park Manor spa brochure, which includes soul-rejuvenating deep tissue, hot stone and full body massages plus scrubs, body wraps, facials, waxing and much more.
The location is great, spa facilities were very good, lots of green and lovely to see the horses and deer. Doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch. Staff were very friendly.

The interior design throughout is a mix of tranquil Bohemian and bold colours and patterns, and is aptly known as “the opportunity to visit Miami without the jetlag”!
As well as stylish and comfortable rooms, The NICI is home to luxurious, state of the art spa facilities. The most magical feature has to be its LA-vibe 30 metre heated outdoor pool with sea views and cabana area. A true oasis!
Compared to all the other options we’ve found, we love this one the most too as you can take a dip in this outdoor heated pool all year round and at any time, no seasonal restrictions to just the Summer months!
Heading inside, you’ll find a grand 18 metre heated indoor pool, soothing hydro pool, sauna, steam room and a defined relaxation room with crystal energy loungers to fully cocoon yourself from the busyness of the world.
The NICI also hosts plentiful wellness events and classes, including its notorious ‘Sunday Yoga sessions’, as well as a bountiful collection of wonderful spa treatments on offer.
Room 101 is stunning, lovely roof terrace and the most comfy bed. The spa and gym is incredible, the food and cocktails are amazing and i had the best massage- will book again.

5. RHINEFIELD HOUSE HOTEL

The majestic Rhinefield House hotel is located just outside of Brockenhurst, again nestled in the heart of the New Forest countryside. Residing in this woodland retreat is a small spa facility that hotel guests can enjoy during their stay.
The main draw is the charming large outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace area, which is open during the warmer Summer months only. Inside the spa itself is a very small 9 metre swimming pool, a spa pool jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
Two treatment rooms allow for a good selection of bookable treatments, such as deep tissue, hot stone and full body massages as well as manicures and pedicures.
On-site, there is also a modern fitness centre and gym for you to indulge in and bookable tennis courts.
We made use of the health club/ spa, including an Indian Head Massage by Steph, which was so wonderfully relaxing that I went back for the same treatment the next day! We were fortunate to be blessed with glorious weather and able to enjoy the outdoor pool with changing rooms, an outside shower and refreshment stall.

To conclude, if you are looking for the best spa hotel experiences in New Forest National Park, our top two choices would absolutely be either the Chewton Glen Hotel or the Careys Manor Hotel.
Both of these hotels have that unquestionable level of luxury and decadence that you expect from a top-quality spa hotel. The fact that they are located either directly within or near the New Forest is also an added bonus.
Another contender to consider is also the New Park Manor Hotel, a modern and extremely family-friendly spa hotel in New Forest option, set in idyllic woodland just outside of New Forest’s Brockenhurst village.
Our ‘wild card’ option that we just had to include in this post is The NICI hotel in Bournemouth. Though it is much further from the New Forest National Park boundaries than the other options (25-30 minute drive), the quirky, bold Miami vibe interior design and brilliant spa facilities on offer meant it had to make the cut!
